Volleyball Director
Jim was the head coach for varsity and junior varsity at Dixie County High School for two years. He led them to a district championship. Jim was the head coach for 3 years at for the High Springs Community School girl’s program and he was the head coach of the boy’s program for 2 years. Jim spent 5 years coaching travel and club volleyball at Gainesville Juniors PSVA and Max Performance. We are excited that Jim has joined our RADDSports volleyball team!

Coach Ortego brings both experience and enthusiasm to the club, with several seasons of travel and high school coaching.For Coach Ortego, volleyball is about so much more than just the game. She loves helping athletes sharpen their skills and compete at a high level, but what inspires her most is watching them grow into confident young adults. She believes the lessons learned on the court — teamwork, resilience, and meaningful relationships — last far beyond the final whistle.

Breona Fung
15 Red Coach
Breona started playing volleyball at a young age at the rec center in Colorado and made her middle school team. She started playing competitively in 8th grade when she joined her first club team. Breona moved to Florida and continued her volleyball career at Port Charlotte High School. Here, she played for both the high school team and a club team and served as an assistant coach for a club team. Her high school added a beach volleyball team in her junior year, which she joined, and she made it to the district finals both years. In Breona’s senior year, she faced an injury that hindered her from playing during the indoor season. She continued to coach for the club she attended, this time as a head coach. Breona now attends the University of Florida, where she is studying Psychology and Criminology. She currently coaches Varsity high school volleyball here in Gainesville. She is passionate about coaching and helping to develop young players’ volleyball skills, all while having fun. She hopes that these players fall in love with the sport and will continue to play, using the skills and knowledge they’ve gained at RADDSports!

15 White Coach
Coach Sam is the 15 White Head coach, and a current student at the University of Florida, preparing to graduate in May. As a player, Sam was primarily a right-side hitter and a secondary outside hitter. She played on the Niceville High School team, as well as the Niceville Sharks Club Volleyball Team and the International Volleyball Club, to conclude her time in travel volleyball. She has many years of playing experience under her belt, along with having been an 11U assistant coach in Tampa, FL, for South Tampa Rush.

Elle grew up in South Florida and began playing volleyball at the age of ten at her local recreation center club. She played for her middle school team and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School as a setter, serving as team captain her senior year and leading the program to its first district championship since 2015. She also played competitively at Tribe Volleyball Club during her 15U and 16U seasons.While in high school, Elle returned to coach her former middle school and local recreation center club teams, gaining experience in player development and leadership. She is currently a student at the University of Florida, studying Microbiology and Cell Science on the pre-med track. Elle is passionate about helping athletes improve their skills, grow as players, competitors, and people, and develop in a positive, high-energy environment.

Cameron grew up in Alachua, Florida, and discovered a love for volleyball at the age of 12. In middle school, her team advanced to the Middle School Championship, an early experience that helped build a strong foundation for future success in the sport.At Santa Fe High School, Cameron was part of a highly competitive volleyball program that reached the state championship three out of four years, winning the 2022 FHSAA 4A state championship during her senior year. In club play, her team earned four consecutive AAU National Championships and a third-place finish at the 2018 USAV National Championship.After high school, Cameron continued playing at the collegiate level, first at Lake-Sumter State College and later at Webber International University. These experiences deepened her understanding of the game and strengthened her commitment to teamwork and leadership both on and off the court.When Cameron’s playing career came to an end, she shifted her focus to coaching and education. Returning home to complete school, she began coaching as an assistant at Dixie County High School and with RADD Sports.Now, Cameron is passionate about helping young athletes grow as players and individuals. With a focus on skill development, confidence, and a positive team culture, she strives to create an environment where athletes can reach their full potential and enjoy the game of volleyball.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Coach Darrielle King came to Gainesville, Florida in 2016 to play collegiate volleyball for the Florida Gators under the legendary Coach Mary Wise, competing as a middle blocker through 2021. Her years as a student-athlete instilled in her a deep passion for leadership, teamwork, and empowering young women both on and off the court.Today, Darrielle serves as the Community Engagement Manager at Pace Center for Girls, where she focuses on building meaningful partnerships, organizing outreach events, and creating programs that inspire girls to step into their purpose with confidence. She has helped introduce initiatives such as yoga sessions, volleyball trainings, and the UF Black Hair and Fashion Expo to enrich the Pace experience.Darrielle continues to stay connected to the Gator community through her work in radio broadcasting for Florida Gators Volleyball and as a co-host on WRUF Radio in Gainesville, Florida. She is also looking forward to coaching the 18s volleyball team with RADD Sports, continuing her lifelong commitment to uplifting and mentoring young women in her community.
