Eric McTureous

Basketball Director

Dr. Eric McTureous grew up in Gainesville, Florida where he attended local schools playing youth sports and then went on to play High School basketball at Buchholz High School. After graduating from Buchholz, he suffered a serious back injury. It was this injury that shaped his future. He attended Santa Fe College and then graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science. While attending college, his coaching career began. He started coaching basketball at the age of 18 and coached at several local high schools including Oak Hall, PK Younge, and Buchholz High School. After graduating, he married his high school sweetheart and then went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He became a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2001 and is currently in private practice and owner of McTureous Chiropractic here in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. McTureous specializes in family care and sports injuries. Eric and his wife, Cheri, have two children, Jordan and Jamison. Both boys were raised in Gainesville and sports have always been a big part of the family schedule.

His passion for youth and high school basketball is unmatched. He aims to develop young athletes to their full potential both on and off the basketball court. Dr. McTureous most recently coached at The Rock School is currently coaching his 9th season at Buchholz High School, and is the Head Coach of the Gainesville Stampede, a local travel basketball team. His goal is to enforce the principles of basketball. These are teamwork, hard work, discipline, commitment, how to win, and how to lose. These principles of basketball will help you in life, not just the game itself. He is thankful to have learned from so many great coaches. He is honored to be a part of the coaching fraternity. Being a great coach takes the commitment to work on your craft every day.

Megan Hooper

Operations Director

Megan Hooper was born in Indiana but grew up an Army Brat. She had the opportunity to move around and see the world with her family at a young age.  Megan and her five siblings all grew up playing multiple sports through both youth and school programs. Her parents instilled the importance of teamwork, love, and discipline when playing sports.After high school, Megan enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where she met her husband Will. After serving, Megan moved with her family to Gainesville to finish her education. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Master of Education degree. After teaching for several years, Megan decided to take on a new role with RADDSports, a company that believes in the overall development of young athletes.Because she started participating in organized sports at a young age, Megan grew to understand the important life skills you can learn from athletics and has utilized those skills throughout her life. She learned the importance of both true friendship and being a good teammate. Now, as a very busy sports mom of three, she continues to share with her children and others the true joy that can come from being involved in organized sports.

Amanda Falck

Volleyball Director

Amanda attended St. Francis Catholic High School for her first three years where she played Varsity each season and led the team to its first-ever State Championship in 2017. She graduated from Santa Fe High School where she was captain of the varsity squad and runners-up in the State Championships, the first time Santa Fe had made the tournament in 45 years. She played for the Top Select volleyball club in Orlando and in the USAV “17U Open” National Championship game, finishing second overall. She was a two-time All-American in USAV Nationals in 2016 and 2017. Amanda was named to the All-State First Team from 2016-2018. In 2019 she received a scholarship from the University of Miami to play as a libero. While coaching and playing there, the team went to the NCAA tournament twice. She played from 2019-2021 and then had to medically retire. After retiring, Amanda received the opportunity to coach alongside her coaches at the University of Miami as a student assistant. Amanda is passionate about developing young athletes and preparing them to succeed. Her goal is to build a competitive but fun environment for the players while building relationships and growing into the person they want to be.

Debbye Landers

Cheer Director

Debbye Landers has been involved in cheerleading since 2003 as a Cheer Mom for high school and All-Star cheerleaders. She has been the Office Manager for Florida TeamCheer since 2010 and has expanded her role as “Mom” to the entire FTC Cheer Family. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program. She provides administrative support and onsite support at competitions. She does uniform and t-shirt design.

Mary Rossow

Pickleball Coordinator

Mary was born and raised in Wisconsin, the youngest of 7 siblings. She is a proud Mom of 3 sons and Mimi to 8 grandchildren. Her husband Tom and her have been married for 30 years and have lived in Alachua since 2006. They are huge fans of the Wisconsin pro and college sports teams.

Mary retired in 2018 from the insurance/investment business. Prior to that, she managed two Bed and Breakfast properties, as well as, an Assisted/Independent Living Facility. Her earlier work history was in the Administrative field with Michels, Inc. and John Deere.

Mary's hobbies are cooking, gardening, spending time at the beach, and traveling to spend time with her family and grandchildren. Her true passion is promoting and playing pickleball. Mary started playing in 2018 and has been a member of USA Pickleball and has served as a USA Pickleball Ambassador for Alachua County since 2019. She is also a Level I Certified Instructor with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and a Selkirk Advocate. Mary demos, educates, and helps surrounding and local community players purchase the best Selkirk paddle for them.

Donovan Blalock

Events Director

Donovan Blalock is the RADDSports Events Director at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center. He was born in Gainesville, Florida, and grew up playing youth sports. Donovan attended Santa Fe High School where he played varsity basketball for three seasons. He then attended Santa Fe College, where he earned his Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Donovan currently plans to attend the University of Florida and major in Sports Management. He also worked in childcare while attending college and found that he loves coaching and has a talent for teaching young athletes. We are excited to have Donovan as part of our RADDSports team to help change the culture of youth sports.

Jim Bendel Jr.

Volleyball Elite Coach

Jim was the head coach for varsity and junior varsity at Dixie County High School for two years. He led them to a district championship. Jim was the head coach for 3 years at for the High Springs Community School girl’s program and he was the head coach of the boy’s program for 2 years. Jim spent 5 years coaching travel and club volleyball at Gainesville Juniors PSVA and Max Performance.  We are excited that Jim has joined our RADDSports volleyball team!

Rachel Deal

Cheer Coach

Rachel has been an all-star cheerleader since she was 10 years old.  She has been on Y1, S4.2, and S3.  Rachel started coaching her freshman year of high school in the spring, of 2017.  She has coached Tinys, midseason, Special Olympics, Y1, J2, and J3.  Rachel is a student at the University of Florida majoring in construction management with a minor in business administration.  At UF,  she cheered for the competition team in her freshman and sophomore years and also competed in snowboarding for the ski and snowboard club.  Rachel loves all-star cheer and coaching and is excited to be coaching at RADD Cheer.

Denise Devonish

Pickleball Coach

Denise Devonish is a PPR-certified pickleball instructor. Denise previously coached field hockey, table tennis, and soccer and now has entered the wonderful world of pickleball. Denise discovered pickleball in 2020 and played recreationally for 1 year. After entering her first tournament in Gainesville, she realized that she had fallen in love with the sport, but she also needed to learn the fundamentals to get better. Three years later she is now enjoying the sport tremendously and sharing her knowledge with others

Shelby Freeman

Volleyball Elite Coach

Shelby has played volleyball for 6 years, won multiple district titles, and came second in state twice. She has been on the Marion County all-star team for four years and has also represented Florida on the Junior USA Volleyball team. Shelby started her coaching career in middle school at the YMCA and has been coaching ever since. She coached for three years at St. John Lutheran School, where they won two district championships and Ocala Power United. For the past two years, she has been the JV coach at Vanguard High School and the assistant for varsity. Shelby has a pharmacy technician certificate and a medical degree in surgical technology and is currently pursuing her Master's in Sports Psychology. We are excited to have Shelby on the RADDSports coaching team.

Breona Fung

Volleyball Coach

Breona started playing volleyball at a young age at the rec center in Colorado and made her middle school team. She started playing competitively in 8th grade when she joined her first club team. Breona moved to Florida and continued her volleyball career at Port Charlotte High School. Here she played for both the high school team and a club team and was an assistant coach to a club team. Her high school added a beach volleyball team her junior year, which she joined, making it to district finals both years. In Breona’s senior year, she faced an injury which hindered her from playing during indoor season. She continued to coach for the club she attended, this time as a head coach. Breona now attends the University of Florida where she is studying psychology. She is passionate about coaching and helping to develop young players’ volleyball skills all while having fun. Her hope is that these players fall in love with the sport and will continue to play, using the skills and knowledge they’ve gained at RADDSports!

Carsyn Gleichowshi

Cheer Coach

Carsyn is currently a student at P.K. Yonge and plans to attend a 4-year university. She was a competitive cheerleader for 6 years and is excited to be coaching for RADD Cheer.

Taylor Hendrix

Cheer Coach

Taylor is from Gainesville, FL, and has 12 years of All-Star cheer experience at Eclipse and Florida Team Cheer and 4 years of school cheer at Buchholtz High School. She also cheered for 2 years for Mississippi Cheer and 2 years for Florida Team Cheer. Coaching has given Taylor the opportunity to expand her love for cheerleading and she is excited to share that with our RADD Cheer athletes.

Tiffany Ingle

Cheer Coach

Tiffany was born and raised in Gainesville, FL, and is one of the coaches for RADD Cheer. She coached all-star cheerleading for 10 years at Florida Team Cheer and also coached high school sideline cheer for 4 years at PK Yonge. She is looking forward to sharing her passion for the sport with young athletes.

Joe LaMagno

Volleyball Elite Coach

Joe graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. in physical education and is certified to teach both health and P.E. He has over 20 years of teaching experience in private and public schools as an elementary physical education teacher. Joe has over 25 years of volleyball coaching experience at the club, high school, and college levels. While in Michigan, he coached University Liggett to 5 District championships and was named MIAC Coach of the Year in 2011 and 2012. Joe started Omni Volleyball Club in Grosse Pointe, MI to allow kids an affordable opportunity to compete locally outside of the school year with great success.

He relocated to Kentucky in 2017 where he coached girls' volleyball at private and public high schools and had 3 national teams with Lexington United Volleyball. His 14 Adidas team was runner-up in the STL Presidents Day Classic in Indianapolis, IN and his 12 Adidas team finished third in that tournament the following year. In 2022, Joe relocated to Florida and joined Gainesville Juniors. His 15 Blue team finished third in the First in Show tournament in Ocala. They went on to have a top 10 finish at the 2023 AAU National tournament in the 15 Spirit Division. Joe has helped numerous players go on to play at the next level. He looks forward to working with young players at the newly formed RADD Elite.

Abner Perez

Cheer Coach

Abner Perez is the Head Coach at Florida TeamCheer. He has been involved in cheerleading since High School where he cheered and was a two-time cheerleading High School State Champion. He cheered for four years in College and was a NCA College Nationals Champion. He served for 2 years as UCA staff. He has 25+ years of coaching experience including 2 years as the Central Florida Coach, and was the University of Florida Cheerleading Coach from 2006-2012. He has been the Head Coach at FTC since 2012.  His coaching experience includes  7+ years coaching gymnastics levels 6-9, and stunt and tumbling coach levels 1-7. He has been a High School and Allstar Cheerleading Choreographer.  His coaching experience has resulted in over 50 All-Star State and National Champions, including CheerSport, and UCA. His teams have been Summit Finalists 9 times, he has had three teams achieve top 4 Summit Finals Placement and a Summit Champion after an undefeated season including CheerSport

Farah Rajaee

Volleyball Elite Coach

Farah has been playing volleyball for over 15 years, with 2 years of experience coaching and assisting with the UCF volleyball camp as a player. She played volleyball as a setter at UCF in Orlando, FL after transferring from Santa Fe College, where she was a setter for 2 years and part of the inaugural team. As a former club player in Gainesville, Farah had experience in the club atmosphere and at tournaments around the nation including the most notable of winning the AAU national championship, winning the Big South Qualifier, and fortunate to have been part of a team that attended the national championship event many years in her career. She continues sharing her love for the sport and looks forward to developing players’ skill set and excitement for the life lessons volleyball can teach!

Adrianna Ruiz

Cheer Coach

Adrianna is a student at the University of Florida and I has been an All-Star Cheerleader for 13 years. She cheered at United Rock Nation and Top Gun Allstars in Miami, Florida where she was an athlete on Top Gun Large Coed for 4 consecutive seasons. Cheer has been her passion and now she is excited to share that with young athletes as a coach for RADD Cheer.

Gianfranco (Gio) Sanguietti

Volleyball Coach

Gio has been playing volleyball for seven years. He played competitively on both club and high school teams. Gio played for Western High School and while there was a Broward All-Star Setter, won 2 district championships, and was a top 25 setter.  Gianfranco still participates in adult tournaments both indoor and outdoor. He is excited to share his volleyball knowledge with our RADDSports athletes.

Ed Schmidt

Pickleball Coach

Ed Schmidt is a PPR and IPTPA, PTR-certified Pickleball professional and Tennis instructor with experience in developing and coaching players at the beginner and intermediate levels.  Ed has strong skills in teaching Pickleball and Tennis along with team building to youths at the junior and high school levels.Ed plays in professional Pickleball tournaments and has been the recipient of several medals including Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

Bria Shank

Cheer Coach

Bria has been in competitive cheer for 14 seasons at Florida Team Cheer.  This is her second year as a coach.  She currently attends Santa Fe College and is studying Sports Medicine.  Bria loves working with athletes, and she hopes to make cheerleading as special for them as it is to her.  She is very dedicated to being a great coach and providing a safe place for all athletes here at RADD Cheer.

Scott Siewert

Pickleball Coach

Scott started playing pickleball in 2015 just for exercise, little did he know, that it would turn into an obsession. After taking many clinics and private lessons with top pros in the field over the years, he decided to become an instructor and signed up with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA). Scott earned his Level I Teaching Certification in 2018, and then the Level II Certification in 2019.In the last 6 years, he has played in over 50 tournaments throughout the US, winning more than 50 medals, including 10+ Gold medals. He currently teaches in several North Florida cities.

Tabitha Ward

Cheer Coach

Tabitha has cheered for 12 years at Florida Team Cheer and 4 years of high school cheer at PK Yonge. She started coaching in her senior year of high school. Tabitha has coached tiny, mini, and level 1 teams.  Cheerleading is her passion and coaching has given her the chance to share that passion with other young athletes.

Chelsea Jones

Volleyball Coach

Chelsea has been playing volleyball for 15 years and started playing competitively when she was 11. Her high school team won multiple district championships and her club team finished 2nd at the USAV Junior National Championships in 2015. Chelsea attended the University of Florida and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. While there, she played indoor and beach volleyball intramurals and won multiple championships. She is now pursuing her Master’s Degree in Information Systems and Operations Management and hopes to win a few more intramural championships in her last years of school. Chelsea is passionate about coaching and helping young players improve their volleyball skills while developing her same love for the sport. She believes in fostering a positive environment and helping players to build confidence in their abilities to accelerate performance.

Gabe

Sports Performance Director

Coach Gabe is a dedicated strength coach who embarks on sports performance and overall fitness. Gabe has always engaged in sports throughout his high school and college career. Some but not all sports include basketball, football, track and field, ultimate frisbee, and soccer. While living the recreational life Gabe has worked in prestigious sports performance universities that include UCF, and FAU, and currently works with the UF Men’s Basketball Team as an Assistant Strength Coach. He has also worked alongside physical therapists as an Exercise Specialist at Kinetix Physical Therapy. His ideology revolves around keeping the athlete performing their sport at an elite level while incorporating techniques that keep the athlete playing their sport for years to come and preaches the objective of quality over quantity!Certifications:
