Event Details

The top 20 marks excluding ties from the 2023 Indoor rank order list and event winners from the 4 Indoor meets held at the Alachua County Event Center @ Celebration Pointe will be eligible to compete. That makes a total of 24 athletes in each event. Athletes must live and attend High School in Florida to be eligible (Grades 9-12). Proof of eligibility will be a Fall 2022 report card from a Florida HS.

Events: 60m Hurdles, 60m Dash, 200m Dash, 400m Dash, 600m Run, 800m Run, 1000m Run, Mile Run, 3000m Run, Pole Vault, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Triple Jump, 20lb Weight Throw. Preliminary rounds will be held in all running events up to and including the 1000m run. Longer distance races will be run in 1 section. All horizontal field events will have 2 flights of 12 athletes seeded worst to best who get 3 attempts each with the top 8 advancing to receive an additional 3 attempts in a final round. All vertical field events will be seeded from worst to best and be contested in a 5 alive format until such time as a normal rotation can be used. Vertical starting heights will be one bar below the lowest entry.
