Breona started playing volleyball at a young age at the rec center in Colorado and made her middle school team. She started playing competitively in 8th grade when she joined her first club team. Breona moved to Florida and continued her volleyball career at Port Charlotte High School. Here she played for both the high school team and a club team and was an assistant coach to a club team. Her high school added a beach volleyball team her junior year, which she joined, making it to district finals both years. In Breona’s senior year, she faced an injury which hindered her from playing during indoor season. She continued to coach for the club she attended, this time as a head coach. Breona now attends the University of Florida where she is studying psychology. She is passionate about coaching and helping to develop young players’ volleyball skills all while having fun. Her hope is that these players fall in love with the sport and will continue to play, using the skills and knowledge they’ve gained at RADDSports!
